I acquired the rights in partnership with another uprising Romanian distribution company, Silver Screen, in October 2023. The strategy for the launch was to show it in advance to selected film theatres from the big cities only in November and December, with esteemed psychologists as special guests. As the Oscar campaign was ongoing, riding the wave of international hype was a must. The rising interest that these previews generated was harnessed during the official release.

We released Smoke Sauna Sisterhood (Sauna Secretelor, 2023) on February 23rd 2024, programmed in cinemas from 15 cities, with alternative screenings in 5 other cities. With the support of the Estonian Embassy in Bucharest, Marianne Ostrat, the producer of the film joined us for the Bucharest premieres, all sold-out.

Smoke Sauna Sisterhood attracted a total of over 7500 entries sold, considered a success for its kind.
